Angelina Jolie grabbed the No. 1 spot from Oprah Winfrey on the magazine's annual Celebrity 100 list, which ranks the rich and the famous based on media exposure and career earnings over the past year, web references, press clippings, broadcast mentions and major magazine covers devoted to the celebrity etc. Although Winfrey is still the highest earner - $275 million, at No. 2, Jolie's earnings and "famous face" were enough to dethrone Winfrey, according to Forbes. Madonna came third, then Beyonce, Tiger Woods, Bruce Springsteen and Steven Spielberg. Jennifer Aniston came in at eighth position, and Brad Pitt ninth. Tenth place goes to Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant. Jennifer Lopez, Johnny Depp and Tyra Banks dropped off the list. |
