Yancy Victoria Butler is an American television and movie actress. She was born in Greenwich Village, New York City. She is the daughter of Joe Butler, drummer for the sixties rock group The Lovin' Spoonful. She went on to study at Sarah Lawrence College in 1987, where she majored in liberal arts.
